Back in 1976-77, I was in fourth grade and living in a rural part of town. I remember sitting on my bed one evening as dusk was nearing, looking out my window. I saw a strange object come into view. It appeared to be a small UFO and it flew close to my house and then out to the horizon before turning around and flying back close to my roof. There were lights all around the middle.
The strangest part was that there were words lit up in the middle of the object, kind of like a reader board. It read "You are doomed to die..."
Being about 9 years old, that kind of freaked me out a bit. But as I said, it came back again, and this time it read, "Skippy Peanut Butter $1.79" or some such price.
I realized it might be some kind of advertising device, but I still don't know what it was. I've never heard or seen anything like it since, nor has anyone that I have asked.

The Most Wonderful Love
Several years ago, I had an experience that changed my life. Whether it was a Near Death Experience or an Out of Body Experience, I do not know... At the time, my health was not good but I didn't know what was wrong. I know now that I was weakened from anemia and hypothyroidism. I do have OBE's (Out of Body Experiences) often when I am exhausted.
I went to bed one evening in 1995. I was very tired, fell fast asleep and the following occured:
A place opened up above me with a brilliant, white, misty Light streaming from it. The Light was extremely bright, but it didn't hurt my eyes. I was moving toward the opening quickly and suddenly, I was in the Light...
Before me, a row of tall, lush sunflowers created a fence of sorts. I had the distinct impression that I was absolutely NOT to go beyond that border of sunflowers.
Standing behind, looking over the flowers were what appeared to be Beings made of Light. They had a human body shape, but there were no facial features. Rather I was seeing a silhouette that was made of just Light. Around the edges, an aura of a brighter, white Light radiated.
Although no words were spoken - I KNEW who they were, God, Jesus and Angels. I knew what they were thinking or trying to project to me. I knew to my very core that they were expecting me. These Spirits knew that I was coming for a visit and were waiting for me. Again, they didn't communicate verbally, I just KNEW these things without any doubt. It's hard to explain unless you've experienced it.
The Spirits were projecting thoughts and feelings to me, and I could feel what it was that they were expressing to me. I felt the most wonderful Love pouring into me. I began sobbing from the relief and joy of it because it was so wonderful.
It felt like the Love was filling up every cell in my body until they were about to burst. I felt no judgment from these Beings of Love, just totally enveloped in this warm, caring, tender love. They impressed upon me that the most important thing here is living from that LOVE. Love with all your heart, love everyone and everything. Make all your choices from this place of Love.
Then, I was zooming back, looking at the open space and watching it become smaller until it was gone.
When I awoke, I was still overcome from the feelings and wonder of it. I couldn't stop thinking or talking about the experience. I had to find out what happened to me. I had heard of near-death experiences before, but hadn't really delved into it. Now, I could not get enough stories to read. I was amazed to find people recounting stories with similarities to my experience!
This experience, whatever it was, changed my life. My passion is helping people to find this Love - the Light that lives within everyone's Heart - hence my business name, HeartLight. We are all a part of this Love for it is our very essence, our Spirit.

They Didn’t Want Me Out Of My Body That Night
At this particular time in my life, I was having spontaneous and self-induced OBE’s (out of body experiences) often as I was falling asleep. This was a spontaneous OBE. I was out of my body for a split second, in darkness, when I felt other beings…spirits…guides??? I still do not know who they were. I couldn’t “see” them really, I hadn’t even had a chance to open my “eyes”, just sensed them. I felt maybe four or five of them gently but firmly grab my spirit body and push me back down into my physical body. I immediately came to complete awakeness and opened my eyes. I was looking around because I could sense them close to me still, their “hands” on my chest and abdomen, making sure my spirit stayed in. I couldn’t see them though. I was not afraid, it just felt like they were concerned about me and did not want me to leave my body. They were protecting me, keeping me safe for some reason. I have never had this happen previously or since then when I’ve had OBE’s. I sure would like to know why they didn’t want me out and who they were.
Saw Himself Dead
This is a story that my deceased stepfather, Lee, told me. He was admitted into the hospital for a heart attack. While he was in ICU, he experienced another heart attack. He told me that the doctors and nurses were there checking him out. He heard one of them say, “We’re losing him” and he looked over to the heart monitor expecting to see it dropping. He told me that he was surprised to see it was a flat line and said 0 (zero). Then he was out of his body, up above the doctors and nurses, by the ceiling, watching them work on his body. He could see his body lying there and he said his mouth was wide open.
