Something Blew on My Bangs

I was once sitting at my computer when I felt something blow on my bangs. I could feel my hair move on my forehead. There wasn't a draft from a window or a fan, and besides, it was in a small concentrated area of my hair just as if someone had leaned over and blew on it.

His Legs Were Faded...

I have a friend who was paralyzed from the waist down in an automobile accident.
On October 26th, at 11:00pm, he and his mother were in a rollover accident in a white vehicle. He was not seriously injured at that time.
A year later, on October 26th at 11:30pm, he was seriously injured in an automobile accident in a white vehicle. He is permanently paralyzed because of it.
Makes you wonder if it was meant to be....
He showed me a picture that his brother had taken a few months before the accident of him standing in the yard with a tree behind him. His legs are faded out! The rest of the picture, even the tree beside his legs, are full normal color, but his legs are very wispy and almost transparent from the waist down.

He Heard People Calling His Name

My son Derek told me when he was a boy that he was afraid to take a bath because he could hear people calling his name.
I've read that when we are in the bath, the water and relaxation is conducive to spirit contact. Maybe he wasn't imagining it...

Click Click...

I was sleeping in my niece's bed, visiting in Illinois. I had a cell phone and had put it on the nightstand next to the bed. I was awoken in the middle of the night by a little chime. It was my cell phone, indicating I had a new message. I looked at my Missed Calls, there was nothing. I didn't have any text messages, new voicemails...nothing. I laid back on the pillow and closed my eyes. Suddenly, I could hear a clicking noise close to my right ear. Click..click..clickclickclick..click..clickclick... Over and over I heard it for several minutes. Finally I sat up and looked around to see if I could figure out if there was something in the room making the noise.
As soon as I sat up, the noise stopped.
Both of my daughters have had instances where they heard clicking noises for no reason, too.

Tomato Soup

When I was 17, I had a six month old baby and was sharing a house with a young couple. Money was scarce and so was food. I remember going through the cupboards over and over again, trying to get an appetite for what was in there. I found a can of Cambell's Chicken Noodle soup and each time I opened the cupboards I could see it. I wished it was a can of Tomato Soup, my favorite.
Finally, I was so hungry I decided to just bite the bullet and eat the Chicken Soup. Imagine how happy I was when I opened the can to find that it WAS Tomato Soup!

Hey!

Twice I have heard a man's voice shouting "HEY" and "HEY YOU" as I was falling asleep. I opened my eyes and no one was around. It sounded like it was coming from up in the corner of my room by my bed.

I Knew If They Were a Boy or Girl

I always KNEW if I was having a boy or a girl. And for some reason, I am very in tune with picking up what other people are going to have.

It all started when I was 17 and pregnant with my first son. I kind of thought it might be better if I had a girl because I was going to be a single parent, and sons need their fathers. I was about 7 months along when I woke up one morning and I just KNEW without any doubt that I was having a boy. They did not do routine ultrasounds back then so I had to wait and see.
Derek Robert was born July 10, 1984.

Korinne Michele came along October 10, 1985 and I was so sure I was having a girl I took only pink baby clothes and dresses to the hospital.

I knew Shane was a boy, Karlie was a girl and Marshall was a boy before the ultrasounds confirmed it.

When I was pregnant with Shane, I worked at Boeing. A few of the ladies told me I should go over and talk to "Susan" because she was really good at predicting what people were going to have. I went over to her desk and arrived just as another pregnant lady did. "Susan" told us we were both going to have girls. She asked what I thought and I told her I thought we were both having boys. I was right.

One time I knew a relative I hadn't talked to in a long time was pregnant when I touched the piece of paper that had a message written on it that she'd called.

Another time, I wondered if my friend had found out the sex of her baby yet and as I went to click on her picture to send her a message, I knew it was a boy. She confirmed that the ultrasound had showed a boy.

I've had tons of experiences like this over the last 23 years. Most of the time I know in an instant what someone is having, it just hits me. Other times, I have to wait until they are further along. Rarely, I do not pick up anything at all or I am wrong. It's a fun gift!

I Could Feel His Spirit

Before I got pregnant with my third son, Collin, I had a dream that I gave birth to a little girl and we named her Melissa. I told my husband (now ex) about it and was about to tell him what we named her when he blurted out - "Melissa". I was surprised and we decided that we must have a little girl named Melissa waiting for us.
Several months later, I did get pregnant and we talked about Melissa coming to join us. I was about three months pregnant and I very clearly could feel a sweet little boy hanging around me often. I told my husband, you'd better pick out a boy name, because this is not a girl. He wondered what happened to Melissa. I said I didn't know, but this is a boy.
A couple of months later when I had an ultrasound, I kept referring to the baby as "he" and the tech asked me if I'd already had an ultrasound. I replied that I hadn't, I just knew it was a boy. He said, "Well, you're right!"
Collin James was born March 10, 1997 and he is still a sweet boy.

Who Called His Name?

When my son Shane was about 3, he and I were standing in the kitchen preparing lunch. I stayed home at this time and his father worked days.
Suddenly, we heard a man's voice say, "SHANE". We both looked each other and he ran to the front door, shouting "Daddy!"
I went with him, thinking maybe his dad had come home way early from work. There was no one there or anywhere else in or around the house.

I Can Hear Her

My oldest daughter, Korinne, was born when I was 18. When she was about 16, I started hearing her call my name whenever she really wanted me. The weird thing was, she wasn't anywhere near me when I would hear her. It sounded loud and clear, just as if she was standing right behind me and saying "MOM" in my ear.
One night, I woke up and rolled over, fully expecting to see my daughter standing there because I had heard her call my name and it woke me up. She wasn't there. I went upstairs to check on her and found her sobbing, wishing she could come wake me up to talk to me but she didn't because she was afraid her stepdad would get mad.
In another instance, we were at the Mall and she was back trying on clothes while I looked through the racks up front. I distinctly heard her say "MOM" right behind me but when I turned around, she wasn't there. I went back to the dressing rooms and asked her what she wanted. She had wanted me to come and look at the clothes as she tried them on.
Another time, I heard her giggling when I opened the refrigerator and found that she and her friend had taken my last two beers after I told her she could not have them. I went to find her only to discover that she and her friend had already left in her car.
There have been several more instances of hearing her say "MOM".

They Left the Lights On

One evening, my little son and I were home alone for the night. I let him sleep with me and closed my door so we would both feel more secure. As I was falling asleep I woke up groggily several times to hearing footsteps around the house. I just ignored it and went back to sleep. When I came out of my room in the morning, I saw that the lights in the bathroom and my little son's room were on. I specifically remember going around and shutting off all of the lights, locking the doors, before we went to bed.

The Door Stopper

One afternoon, shortly after we moved into a new house, my husband, son and I were talking in my room when we heard one of the door stoppers outside the open bedroom door make a noise like something had swiped it. You know....that "BOOOOOIIIIINGGG" noise. We all looked at each other and walked out the door and looked around to see if we could figure out what happened. There was no one else in the house, not even the cat!

I Saw Him Crying in My Dreams

When I was 19, I had a boyfriend that I dated for four years. We really loved each other, but were just too young to make it work. I moved on, married someone else and we did not stay in touch.
It was November, about three years later, and I kept having dreams where he was quite upset and crying. I finally called his sister-in-law and asked her if he was okay. She said that she hadn't talked to him in quite awhile and had no idea but she hadn't heard anything. She told me that she would be seeing him at Christmas, in about a month, and would ask how things were going.
I talked to her again after Christmas and she told me that he had been in a bad car accident right around the time I was having the dreams. He was hit on the driver's side by a police car that ran a red light and was in terrible pain. He still couldn't move his neck well and his back was hurt.

The Lamp Turned Off By Itself!

When I was about thirteen, I lived with my younger sister and my stepdad. I would get up before anybody else to get ready for school. Sometimes my stepdad wasn't home from work yet. On this particular morning, he wasn't home. I walked out into the living room and turned on the lamp so the house wouldn't be all dark. The lamp made a loud clicking noise when you turned the knob.
I was in the bathroom curling my hair when I heard the lamp click. I looked into the living room and saw that the lamp was off. My sister was still asleep and no one else was in the house. I looked around for a second and saw a strange red light dancing around the room by the telephone. It looked like a button that would be glowing on an electric device to show that it was on. It was moving up and down and zig-zagging all around by the telephone and the table it was on. I looked closely to see if I could figure out what it was. It was not attached to anything, and wasn't like a light shining in from somewhere. It wasn't reflected on the wall. I decided I needed to show I was brave so it would go away. I picked up the phone and pretended I was going to make a call. Within a few seconds, it went away.

I Walked On Air

When I was in third grade, we had a tree in our yard that was an easy climb. We loved playing in it and jumping off of one of the limbs that was horizontal to the ground, about four feet above. One night, we repeatedly climbed up and walked off the limb to land on the ground. On one of my turns, I took a step off the limb, but I didn't fall! I swear I paused for a second and took another step, then fell. I remember feeling shocked, then puzzled. I just shrugged it off because I didn't know what to think of it.

Cat Spirit??

The first pet I really remember is a cat I named Tiger. I had her in the third grade. She used to sleep on my bed with me. I loved her and was very sad when I came home from school one day to find that my dad had gotten rid of her for attacking the bird cage.
Fast forward 3 or 4 years and I had moved to a different state. I was lying in bed one night, just settling in, and I felt something jump up onto my bed. It reminded me of how it felt when my cat Tiger used to jump up on my bed. I couldn't see anything and I felt pretty scared. I laid very still and asked, "Are you my cat Tiger? If you are, touch my leg." I felt a touch on my leg. I was very surprised, I didn't really expect that, but I relaxed and went to sleep.
